Coach Matt Logan

Coach Logan is going into his 2nd year as the Director of Track and Field/Cross Country at Young Harris College. Coach Logan has coached at the Div. I, Div. II, Div. III, and the high school level. His passionate approach teaches and pushes his athletes to grow as a person and vastly improve their running performance. His main objective is to get the best out of you and take you to new heights. I would highly recommend Coach Logan to anyone who has the opportunity to be under his guidance.”

—Hailey Russell, Conference Carolinas Champion and Medalist in 800m and 1500m.

“Coach Logan is a fantastic coach. With his great insights, hard workouts and caring attitude he helped elevate my running career to the next level. He took the time to explain why we did what we did and which helped me gain a better understanding of the sport and trust his training plan. Without Coach Logan, I would net be a state champion and would probably not be running at the collegiate level.”

—Jean-Lou Pare', 2021 North Carolina 3200m State Champion and multi-time all-stater. Current Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket.

“Matt [C. Logan] has helped me so much over time to improve my understanding and general knowledge of running. He always gives clear and sensible advice with reasoning backed by current scientific literature.”
